I baked these cookies very long time ago. That time I’m pregnant with my 3rd child. Since Christmas season is around the corner this is the right time for me to post this draft.
My
sons like to help me on decorate the cookies. Here are some of their
"art". They are having fun taking part in the decoration process. The
most fun part of course is eating the cookies. I strongly recommend these
cookies as it is creamy and fragrant with the used of hazelnut.
Ingredients:
(A)100g butter
50g icing sugar
1 egg yolk
(B)
220g low protein flour (sifted)
75g ground hazelnut
(C )
Topping of you choice for decoration(optional)
Methods:
1. Cream butter and sugar till smooth(hand whisk is good enough). Add in the yolk. Mix till well
combined.
2. Fold in ingredients from (B) and mix till well incorporated. Do not
over mix.
3. Roll the dough in between plastic wrap, about 1/2 cm thick. Cut out
the cookies with the cookie cutter. Arrange on lined baking pan.
4. Decorate as you wish.
5. Bake at 170C for 10-12 minutes.
i bet they are really delicious and the most enjoying thing must be the decoration part !
