I'm
glad I still able to bake something to support Cook Like A Star hosted by Zoe of Bake for Happy Kids after back from holidays. This cooking and baking event
last till end of December and I have bookmarked few recipes to try.
This
Pear and Cinnamon cake of Bill Granger is highly recommended by Mich, Piece of
Cake. She is right this easy cake is light, moist and crumbly. The low content
of butter used in the recipe make this cake perfect for everyday desserts.

*original
used 175g self-raising flour (omit baking powder and baking soda if using SR

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out
clean. Leave in the tin for 5 minutes before removing. Brush the cake with a
little honey before serving warm.
